Job Order Contract - General Construction

The County of Placer is seeking bids for a Job Order Contract - General Construction project. The contract will be for a period of one year and will involve various construction tasks at different locations throughout Placer County. The contractor will be required to perform work according to a Construction Task Catalog, which contains preset unit prices for various construction tasks. The contractor will also be required to bid on adjustment factors to be applied to the unit prices. The minimum contract value is $50,000, and the estimated maximum contract value is $1,000,000. The successful bidder must possess a valid Class B General Building Contractor's License issued by the State of California. • The contract involves general construction, repair, remodel, and other repetitive related work. • The contractor will be required to execute a JOC System License and Fee Agreement and pay a 1% JOC System License Fee. • The contractor will be required to review the Detailed Scope of Work and develop a Job Order Price Proposal using appropriate tasks, quantities, and the applicable adjustment factor. • The County reserves the right to exercise a bilateral option to increase the maximum contract value during the term of the contract.
