Crack Seal Truck

The County of Sacramento is soliciting bids for a new, unused 18,000 pound G.V.W.R heavy duty conventional cab truck with a twelve foot flatbed body, standard stake pockets, toolboxes, hose reel and reinstallation of existing air compressor. The operation will require that the truck tow a crack sealing trailer at a creep, along with a ground crew while blowing, cleaning and sealing pavement cracks and seams on County roadways. The contract was awarded to Downtown Ford Sales. • The truck must meet specific requirements, including a twelve foot flatbed body and a reinstalled air compressor. • The vendor must provide proof of certification as a State-certified micro-business enterprise or local vendor if requesting an economic price preference. • The contract includes a Notice of Intent to Award document, which outlines the evaluation process and the award decision.
