Community Agency Grant

The City of Cottonwood has awarded a grant to the Old Town Mission, a nonprofit organization, to support its programs and services. The grant is for a maximum amount of $18,000.00, payable in quarterly installments of $4,500.00, and is intended to supplement and not supplant any other available funding. The Old Town Mission is required to submit quarterly and year-end reports to the City, and to acknowledge the City's financial support in its program and promotional materials. The contract may be terminated by either party upon 30 days written notice, and the Old Town Mission is required to indemnify and hold harmless the City, its officers, and employees. • The grant is for a term of one year, from September 19, 2023, to June 30, 2024. • The Old Town Mission is required to submit quarterly reports within 45 days after the end of each calendar quarter. • The Old Town Mission is required to submit a year-end report within 45 days after the end of its fiscal year. • The City may terminate the contract if the Old Town Mission fails to submit the required reports or if the City's revenues are less than anticipated.
