Description
The City of Tracy is replacing the existing Bar Screen 1 at its wastewater treatment plant. The scope includes demolition of the current screen, procurement, and installation of a new bar screen with all accessories and appurtenances. Bids were accepted by March 5 2026, with the contract awarded on May 19 2026. The work is scheduled to run for approximately ninety calendar days, spanning June 2026 through August 2026, and requires the contractor to hold a valid Class A General Engineering license, provide performance and payment bonds (each 100 % of the contract price) and a 10 % warranty bond, and comply with prevailing‑wage rules for San Joaquin County.
