Description
The University of Akron is seeking to establish a 30-month contract for electrical energy requirements. The contract is for a full requirement, and the university's preference is that the electrical energy requirements of select university-owned, leased, or operated facilities will be satisfied by the outcome of this RFP process. The university's full load requirement is approximately 110,000,000 kwh's annually with a demand peak of approximately 20MW. The contract was put out for bid, but no award will be made based on the auction.
