Bastrop County is seeking to purchase a used industrial boom mower with specific requirements, including less than 1200 hours of use, a diesel engine with a minimum rating of 140 to 150 horsepower, and various safety features. The proposal should include a full description of the mower, photos, and pricing information. The county will evaluate proposals based on cost and year/engine hours.
• The used industrial boom mower must have less than 1200 hours of use and be no more than 2 years old.
• The unit must have a diesel engine with a minimum rating of 140 to 150 horsepower.
• The unit must have counterweights for stability and be 4-wheel-drive.
• The unit must have an enclosed cab with air conditioning and shatter-proof glass.
• The unit must have a rollover protective structure (ROPS) and functioning headlights, taillights, flashers, mirrors, and a camera(s).
• The unit must have attachment capability for a fail mower, shredder, etc.
