The City of Colorado Springs is seeking a qualified entity to purchase, lease, or operate the former Meadows Park Community Center (approximately 11,400 sq ft on a 1.19‑acre parcel) and deliver a financially self‑sustaining program that provides significant community benefit. The proposal must include a comprehensive business model, detailed management plan, and a clear alignment with community‑identified priorities such as youth programs, food access, senior services, and health‑wellness initiatives. All capital and operating costs must be self‑funded; the City will not provide financial support, but will negotiate disposition of existing fixtures and may grant exclusive rights to sell food or beverages.
