Description

The County of Tuolumne is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide employment services and emergency support services for justice-involved individuals participating in the County's Proposition 47 Cohort 5 initiative. The selected contractor will provide comprehensive employment services, including paid work experience, subsidized employment, and transitional employment opportunities, as well as emergency assistance such as transportation, food, and hygiene kits. The contractor will also be required to participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case coordination, and maintain regular communication with the Probation Department, Superior Court, and Behavioral Health providers. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must demonstrate experience providing employment services and reentry support services to justice-involved populations. • The contractor must be able to operate effectively in a rural environment and provide services in a community-based, non-custodial setting. • The contractor must be able to provide flexible and responsive services to meet the needs of participants. • The contractor must be able to demonstrate the ability to collect, maintain, and report program data as required by the County.

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is not explicitly stated in the document. However, considering the scope of services and the fact that it's a grant-funded program, a reasonable estimate for the budget could be in the range of $500,000 to $2,000,000 per year, depending on the number of participants and the intensity of services provided. This estimate is based on the assumption that the program will serve a moderate-sized population and provide a comprehensive range of services. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the contractor's experience, the specific services offered, and the program's expected outcomes.
