Description
The Appalachian State University is seeking a qualified vendor to replace the athletic wood floor in the Varsity Gymnasium. The replacement process includes disconnecting, working around, and re-connecting bleachers, removing and disposing of existing flooring and subflooring, patching concrete, installing a new subfloor system, and installing new maple flooring. The vendor must also sand the entire floor, apply a water-based gym floor sealer, measure, tape, and paint game lines, and apply a water-based gym floor finish. The project is expected to start on July 3rd and be completed by October 5th, 2026.
