Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is seeking a contractor to provide a new metal 3D printer system to the DLA Product Test Center Mechanical Lab in Columbus, Ohio. The system must meet specific technical requirements, including a build volume of at least 150 x 150 x 250 mm, a laser power of at least 500 W, and the ability to use a cartridge powder handling system. The contractor will be responsible for delivering and installing the system, as well as providing training and maintenance services. The scope of work includes:
• Delivery and installation of the metal 3D printer system
• A minimum of 3 days of on-site training for up to 4 associates
• A 3-year preventative maintenance service and calibration contract
• Compliance with applicable security requirements and directives
The contractor must also provide a 12-month warranty or the standard OEM commercial warranty, whichever is greater, on all parts and labor.
