Bluff City Cemetery Phase IV Roadway Improvements

The City of Elgin is seeking bids for the Bluff City Cemetery Phase IV Roadway Improvements project. The project involves resurfacing various streets with new HMA pavement and other related work, including furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and other necessary items. The scope of work includes approximately 4,540 linear feet of resurfacing, 48 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Binder Course, 849 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, and other miscellaneous items. • The project requires a bid bond of 5% of the original bid amount. • The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the total contract price. • The project follows the Elgin Responsible Bidders Ordinance and Elgin Residency Requirements. • The successful bidder must pay prevailing wage and provide certified payrolls to the City for the duration of the project.
