The NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is seeking information from potential sources for the production of Jet Propellant Thermally Stable (JPTS) jet fuel in support of NASA's ER-2 Airborne Science Program (ASP) aircraft. The fuel must comply with the attached draft Military Detail Specification (MIL-DTL-25524H(USAF)) and the annual production amount is estimated to be 125,000 gallons. The duration of production is expected to be ten years. Interested firms are required to submit a capability statement, which should include anticipated subcontracting goals for various socioeconomic categories. The government reserves the right to set aside this requirement for any of the socioeconomic categories based on the responses received.
