Bryte Sewer Pump Station Rehabilitation

The City of West Sacramento is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide professional design services for the Bryte Sewer Pump Station Rehabilitation Project. The project involves the rehabilitation of the existing pump station, including the replacement of existing pumps, upgrade of the electrical and control systems, and improvement of the site security and lighting. The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing a design report, conducting field surveys, and performing a condition assessment of the existing facilities. The project is funded through the Sewer Fund (CIP #33031) and is expected to be completed within 365 days. • The project requires the consultant to evaluate alternatives that improve long-term operational reliability, system capacity, and maintainability while simplifying facility operation and integration with existing City infrastructure. • The consultant shall design pump station upgrades meeting the minimum requirements, including submersible pump conversion, wet well configuration and storage, and pumping equipment. • The consultant shall also evaluate the condition and reusability of existing electrical and communication control systems and provide recommendations for rehabilitation or replacement. • The project requires coordination with third-party agencies and utility providers, as well as alignment with the Rehab_3 tributary investigation to confirm pump station capacity assumptions.
