2026 Manhole Rebuild

The City of Rochester, Rochester Public Utilities, is seeking bids for the 2026 Manhole Rebuild project. The project involves the demolition and reconstruction of two existing brick manhole locations, the removal and replacement of two concrete manhole roofs, and the roof removal and infill of one brick manhole. The awarded work is expected to be completed by May 12, 2026. • The project includes the reconstruction of manholes MH #57, MH #74, MH #162, and MH #166. • The project includes the removal and infill of manholes MH #31 and MH #167. • The project includes the replacement of roofs for manholes MH #165 and MH #237. • Bidders must submit their proposals electronically, including a copy of the bid bond and all supporting instruments. • A pre-bid meeting will be held on March 24, 2026, at 2:30 PM EDT at the RPU Service Center.
