26-05 Distribution System Valve Exercising and GPS Locating

The Bay County Utility Services is seeking a contractor to locate and actuate over 4,500 valves within its retail and wholesale water distribution system, while capturing their precise GPS coordinates. The project aims to develop a comprehensive, digital valve database to improve the County's ability to locate valves quickly for routine maintenance and emergency response. The GPS data collected will also enable secure data sharing with other utilities, emergency responders, or contractors in the event of a natural disaster or other emergency, enhancing system reliability and regional coordination.
