Proposal to Serve Kennedy Place Rural Workforce Housing Initiative

The City of Cairo is seeking bids for the construction of the Proposed Improvements to serve Kennedy Place Rural Workforce Housing Initiative. The project includes the installation of a sanitary sewer pump station, PVC force main, gravity sanitary sewer service lines, urban roadway, storm drain pipe, water main, and other associated measures. The project is expected to be completed within 270 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion and 300 consecutive calendar days to final completion. • The project requires a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor. • All utility work must be performed by a licensed Utility Contractor in the State of Georgia. • A pre-bid conference will be held on February 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at City Hall. • Bidding documents can be obtained from Watkins & Associates, L.L.C. upon payment of $300.00. • The project will be funded by a grant from the Department of Community Affairs OneGeorgia Program.
