Description
The Snohomish County PUD is seeking bids for the installation of a submarine cable to supply power to Hat Island. The project involves replacing a depreciated 1974-installed cable with a new one, spanning approximately 32,400 feet. The work will be coordinated with the District crew for connection to the existing distribution system. The contractor will be required to obtain the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) for the Port of Everett work.
• The project requires all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of the submarine cable.
• The work locations are 2920 Terminal Ave., Everett, WA 98201 and Hat Island Marina, in Snohomish County, Washington.
• The engineer's estimate for the project is $8,500,000.00.
• Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the Public Purchase website.
• The deadline for questions is Wednesday, November 12, 2025, by 4pm, and responses to questions will be posted on or before Friday, November 14, 2025, by 4pm.
