Recreation Center Slide Tower Restoration

The City of Cortez is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of the concrete at the Cortez Recreation Center Natatorium Slide Tower. The project includes the installation and removal of temporary shoring, discrete galvanic anodes, and corrosion-inhibiting coating. The contractor must also provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work. The project is expected to be completed within 60 days of the notice to proceed. • The contractor must have experience in similar projects and demonstrate bonding capability of up to 100% of the project cost. • The contractor must provide a bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Cortez for not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid. • The City of Cortez reserves the right to waive any formality or informality in the process of awarding a bid. • The City of Cortez reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
