Columbia Mills Building - Reimagine the Experience Permanent Gallery Improvements

The South Carolina Department of Administration is seeking a proposal for the redesign and renovation of the SC State Museum, located in the Columbia Mills Building. The scope of work includes the installation of a new passenger elevator, new public stairways, updates to existing thoroughfares to ensure ADA accessibility, renovations to restrooms, and construction or renovation of various areas such as exhibition spaces, public programming areas, collection storage, special event spaces, and customer support areas. The selected firm will be required to coordinate with exhibit design consultants.
