The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to replace and install isolation shut‑off valves on domestic cold, hot, and recirculation water lines across multiple buildings at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. The work is divided into two phases, covering roughly 30 valve locations, requiring coordinated water shut‑offs, installation of pre‑built pipe sections, re‑insulation, and compliance with strict VA, OSHA, and infection‑control standards. The contract period is 140 calendar days from notice to proceed, and the contractor must provide all labor, materials, safety plans, and documentation.
• Scope: Install/replace isolation valves on DCW, DHW, and DHWR lines in Buildings A, B, D+F, E, G, H, K, Canteen, and a Phase 2 valve in Building L.
• Required coordination: 8‑hour water shut‑offs per building, often overnight or weekend, with VA Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
