Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a contractor to provide auditing services and financial statement compilation for the Public Employee Health Insurance Program. The contractor will be responsible for compiling financial statements, auditing the trust fund, and providing consulting services. The contract will be for a period of two years, with the option to renew. The contractor must have experience in providing similar services to state agencies and must be familiar with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Compiling financial statements for the trust fund
* Auditing the trust fund
* Providing consulting services
* Assisting with the development of the annual financial report
* Providing a draft of the audited financial statements
* Attending meetings with DEI staff to discuss the audit and financial statements
* Providing sufficient copies of the financial audit and management letter as needed
