Description
The Adelanto Public Utility Authority is seeking a qualified professional firm to provide comprehensive management, operation, and maintenance services for the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sanitary Sewer Collection System. The selected Consultant will be expected to operate and maintain the WWTP and Sewer Collection System in full compliance with applicable permits, laws, regulations, and industry standards. The Consultant will be required to provide a range of services, including continuous operation of the Parkson Biolac process, maintenance of headworks, influent pump station, secondary clarifiers, thickening/dewatering, biosolids handling/hauling, and percolation ponds. The Consultant will also be responsible for preparing and submitting regulatory reports, implementing a Routine Preventive Maintenance Program, and responding to Underground Service Alerts.
• The Consultant must possess five years of experience operating and maintaining biological secondary treatment WWTPs in California.
• The Consultant must employ a Principal/Project Manager with a relevant graduate degree and State of California wastewater operator certification.
• The Consultant must demonstrate successful experience in regulatory compliance, asset management, and SSO response and reporting.
• The Consultant must demonstrate experience delivering O&M services in San Bernardino County or comparable jurisdictions.
• The Consultant must maintain the ability to staff on-site operations to meet permit and safety requirements and to provide 24/7 emergency response.
• The Consultant must own a vac truck readily available for emergency work.
