Description
The Navy Region Southwest Qualified Recycling Program (NRSW QRP) is inviting bids for the sale of Expended Mixed Caliber Casings (50cal. & below) located at Naval Base San Diego. The sale includes three lots of materials, and each lot will be awarded to the highest bidder. The buyer must remove the material within fifteen (15) business days of the award and pay for the material based on the weight recorded on the NRSW QRP scale. The buyer is also responsible for any taxes applicable to the purchase and must indemnify the NRSW QRP and the U.S. Navy against any claims or liabilities arising from the purchase or use of the materials.
• The sale includes three lots of materials: Expended Mixed Caliber Casings (50cal. & below), Mixed Caliber Casing Containing Plastic Tipped and Chrome Casings, and Aluminum Mixed Caliber Casing with Brass Primer.
• The buyer must pay for the material within five (5) business days of the award.
• The buyer is responsible for removing the material and must do so within fifteen (15) business days of the award.
• The buyer must indemnify the NRSW QRP and the U.S. Navy against any claims or liabilities arising from the purchase or use of the materials.
• The sale is "as is" for scrap-metal purposes only, and the buyer must destroy the materials by melting, shredding, or an equivalent method.
