Description
The City of Douglasville is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors for the Brightstar Road at Brightstar Connector Intersection Improvements Project. This project includes a comprehensive upgrade of the existing intersection, with improvements to the traffic signal system, pedestrian facilities, pavement markings, and roadway signage. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing the labor, materials, equipment, and engineering necessary to complete the improvements while maintaining the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic throughout construction. Key aspects of the project include:
• Installation of mast-arm traffic signal infrastructure
• Video detection and underground connectivity
• Sidewalks and ADA-compliant ramps
• New and extended striping, crosswalks, and stop bars
• Related signing and marking improvements
The City is looking for a contractor with experience in similar projects, and the ability to absorb additional workload and provide services on a timely basis.
