FY26 REPAIR WHOLE HOUSE, BUILDING 1255, MCAS IWAKUNI, JAPAN

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Japan District, is providing a pre-solicitation notice for an upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) for the repair and modernization of six officer family housing units at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. The project involves sustainment work such as exterior painting, repairing and painting interior walls and ceilings, and replacing deteriorated roofing and flashing. Modernization work includes the installation of additional lighting fixtures, electrical outlets, and TV, telephone, and internet access receptacles and wiring. • The project magnitude is estimated to be between ¥500,000,000 and ¥1,000,000,000 (Japanese YEN). • The construction type is Design-Build (DB) Construction. • The project is intended only for local sources, and only local sources will be considered under this solicitation. • Offerors must possess a Japanese civil construction (doboku isshiki koji) license or Japanese architectural construction (kenchiku isshiki koji) license by the proposal due date and time.
