Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a sole source provider for a ductable heater. The required item is a PKB-DT 8" ductable portable unit heater, 480V, 10KW, 3-PH, which is used to support the mission at the bottom of the dock and inside tanks. The agency currently has 20 of these units, but the majority are out of commission and can no longer be repaired. The new units must be compatible with the existing systems and must be custom-made by King Electric, as they are direct replacements for the existing brand name equipment.
Key features and requirements of the job include:
• The provider must be able to deliver the units within 8-10 weeks.
• The units must be custom-made by King Electric.
• The provider must be able to supply the units with the specified characteristics, including being 480V, 10KW, 3-PH.
• The units must be compatible with the existing systems.
