Description

The purpose of the Listos California Regional Grant (LL) Program is to support organizations within California's Southern Region that serve multiple counties with equity priority factors located in areas at moderate to high risk of disaster. Nonprofits can work independently or subgrant with local nonprofits to provide disaster training and resources to diverse populations disproportionately impacted by emergencies. The goal is to increase communities' disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation capabilities. Key aspects of this grant include: • Eligible applicants must be a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status serving a minimum of two counties within the Southern Region. • The total estimated available funding is $1,500,000. • Applicants may apply for up to $150,000 for the 19-month Grant Subaward performance period, with the possibility of additional funding for serving more than two counties. • The funding source is State, and the funding method includes advances and reimbursements.

Budget estimate

$50,000 – $300,000

Based on the information provided, the total estimated available funding is $1,500,000. The estimated amount per award is dependent on various factors, including the number of applicants and the scope of their projects. However, applicants may apply for up to $150,000 for the 19-month Grant Subaward performance period, with the possibility of additional funding for serving more than two counties. Considering these factors, the budget range can be estimated as follows: The low end of the estimate could be around $50,000, assuming a smaller-scale project serving only two counties. The high end of the estimate could be around $300,000, assuming a larger-scale project serving multiple counties and receiving additional funding.
