Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District is seeking a small‑business‑only vendor to provide park gate‑attendant services at four Corps‑managed recreation sites across Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida for the Fall 2026 – Winter 2027 season. The contractor must staff two‑person teams, operate gatehouses, collect and process user fees through the R1S™ reservation system, maintain cleanliness, and enforce park policies per the Performance Work Statement. All contractors must meet strict insurance, bonding, and background‑check requirements and be eligible under a 100 % set‑aside for women‑owned, HUBZone, SDVOSB, or other qualifying small‑business categories. • Provide gate attendance, fee collection, and customer assistance at eight total positions (two per site). • Maintain daily logs, cash reconciliation, and adhere to the Gate Attendant Handbook; failure to perform may result in immediate termination. • Must furnish a $5,000 fidelity bond, appropriate auto and general liability insurance, and complete SAM Form 36, OF‑306, and fingerprint documentation before work commences.

Budget estimate

$50,000 – $150,000

No award amount is disclosed. Assuming a firm‑fixed‑price daily rate between $100‑$200 per attendant, eight positions each working roughly 80 days yields a total contract value between $64,000 and $128,000. Adding overhead for bonding, insurance, and administrative costs pushes the upper bound to about $150,000. Thus the estimated budget range is roughly $50K‑$150K.
