Description
The Jefferson County Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified consulting engineering firm to provide full‑service design and limited construction engineering support for the Lonedell Road Safety Improvement project (approximately 1.08 mi of roadway, $2.5 M construction estimate). The scope includes preliminary and final plans, right‑of‑way and easement plats, technical specifications, cost estimating, field surveys, archaeological/environmental studies, geotechnical investigations, and limited construction‑phase services such as staking, pin setting, shop‑drawing review, and RFI responses. Firms must submit a Letter of Interest (max 4 pages) and a Statement of Qualification, along with required compliance documentation, by the September 25, 2026 deadline.
• Design of roadway safety improvements (preliminary & final plans)
• Preparation of right‑of‑way, easement plats, and technical specifications
• Construction cost estimation and budgeting
