Description
The North Carolina State University is seeking a vendor to provide professional refurbishment services for 829 Twin XL mattresses. The vendor must take delivery of the mattresses during the first week of May 2026 and deliver the refurbished mattresses back to the university during the last week of July 2026. The refurbished mattresses must meet specific technical specifications, including a dual-sided finish, new filler and fiber toppers, and a 210-Denier Navy Blue Poly/Nylon fabric cover. The vendor must also comply with federal flammability standards and federal labeling requirements.
• The vendor must provide a minimum of two references for similar work performed in the past three years.
• The vendor must have a NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) Sanitization License.
• The vendor must meet all technical specifications and workmanship requirements.
• The vendor must provide a quote that includes all costs associated with the refurbishment services.
• The vendor must comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, rules, regulations, and licensing requirements applicable to the conduct of its business.
