Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking a sources sought for the maintenance of North Star Imaging Computed Tomography (CT) equipment. The requirement includes a standard and preventative maintenance service agreement for the NSI CT X5000 Scanner equipment. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.103-1(b). The potential offeror must be an authorized reseller of the NSI CT X5000 Scanner and be able to access the OEM maintenance manual referenced in the DRAFT Statement of Work. The contract type is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract.
• The contract will include a 12-month base period and one option year.
• The contractor shall provide a preventive maintenance program that includes two 13-point inspections performed on a bi-annual basis by factory-trained technicians and authorized imaging specialists.
• The contractor shall provide unlimited telephone and remote technical support for hardware and x-ray system-related issues.
• The contractor shall provide a software maintenance agreement that includes unlimited software updates via download link within the agreement period.
