Description
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is seeking bids for an experimental harvest of alligator eggs on the White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area in Vermilion Parish. The bid package can be requested by calling Lance Ardoin or emailing [email protected]. Sealed bids are due by 10:00 A.M. on May 19, 2026, at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Lafayette Office Building.
• The alligator egg harvest will be on White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area.
• Sealed bids can be mailed to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, ATTN: Jeb Linscombe.
• The bids will be publicly opened and read in the First Floor Conference Room on Dulles Drive immediately after 10:00 A.M. on May 19, 2026.
