DoW Arthritis Clinical Research Award

The DoW Arthritis Clinical Research Award supports clinical research that evaluates disease-specific factors and interventions. Research is intended to generate clinically useful evidence with potential to optimize patient outcomes and inform clinical care or policy. The award offers funding for two research levels: Research Level 1 for clinical research or early-phase/pilot clinical trials, and Research Level 2 for full-scale clinical trials. Applications must address one of two focus areas: Prevention and Early Diagnosis, or Treatment and Mitigation of Disease Progression/Burden. Key aspects of the award include: • Research must address one of the two focus areas • Preliminary and/or published data are required • A community collaborator is encouraged for Research Level 1 and required for Research Level 2 • The award is open to any type of entity, subject to clarification in the text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility"
