Request for Information – Airboat for Trinidad and Tobago

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing an airboat, trailer, spare parts, in-country reactivation services, and in-country training services for the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. The airboat must be a mature, proven hull design with a beam of at least 7ft 6 inches, and must be capable of operating in shallow river littorals with sandy/rocky bottoms and floating debris. The contractor must provide a recommended spare parts list, and warranty coverage against any defects or failures for a period of 10 years. • The airboat must have a 509 C.I.D. / 520 HP GTO/MAS engine • The airboat must have a completely enclosed, tropical grade canopy • The airboat must have a davit crane with electric winch • The contractor must provide one trailer with the following specifications: aluminum, dual tandem axle, 14” tires, spare tire and mount, 2” heavy-duty coupler, heavy-duty tongue jack with wheel, heavy-duty 2-speed winch, easy grease bearings, rollers on rear for easy unloading, LED US D.O.T. lighting • The contractor must provide warranty coverage against any defects or failures for a period of 10 years
