Description
The US Air Force is seeking a high-torque, low-RPM stump grinder attachment capable of efficiently removing large numbers of stumps currently obstructing drivable paths essential for security checks and base operations. The attachment must be compatible with Bobcat T250 and Bobcat 770 models and meet specific performance, physical, component, safety, and compatibility requirements.
• The attachment must have a minimum cutting wheel diameter of 32 inches and operate within a hydraulic flow range of 20-42 GPM.
• It must be able to handle system pressures up to 4,250 PSI and achieve up to 20 inches of cutting depth in a single pass.
• The attachment must grind stumps 8-28 inches in diameter in one pass and operate at approximately 7-16 RPM.
• It must include a Universal Skid Steer / Compact Track Loader (SSL/CTL) quick-attach interface and be fully compatible with Bobcat T250 and Bobcat 770 skid-steer loaders without requiring modification to the carrier equipment.
