The City of New York is soliciting bids for a five‑year Requirements Contract to provide forestry‑tracked stump grinders (and an optional heavy‑duty trailer) for use across the NYC Parks system. The contract will be a “C” indefinite‑quantity, unit‑price arrangement with a mandatory $25,000 inspection fee reimbursable to the vendor. Bidders must be registered in PASSPort, complete mandatory insurance, warranty, and environmental packaging requirements, and adhere to strict inspection and warranty provisions.
• Provide one (1) tracked stump grinder meeting detailed engine, chassis, cutting, and control specifications.
• Provide an optional heavy‑duty equipment trailer meeting dimensional and safety standards.
• Deliver all units within 180 days of purchase order issuance, with a pilot inspection at 160 days.
