Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified vendors to provide shipping/repair of Ethium Lithium-Ion Battery Pack for a Toyota electric forklift at the Shawnee VA CMOP. The contractor shall be responsible for removing the battery pack, crating and packaging it, and arranging transportation to the designated manufacturer's repair facility. The contractor shall also be responsible for installing the repaired battery pack and performing preventative maintenance on the unit. The objective of this project is to safely return the forklift to operational status and inspect and identify any outstanding issues.
• The contractor shall provide all equipment and trained personnel to accomplish the tasks associated with battery repair.
• The contractor shall ensure that all personnel are qualified to use equipment required to complete this task and that equipment is being safely operated within all applicable safety standards, laws, and guidelines.
• The contractor shall provide installation of the repaired battery pack into the unit and perform preventative maintenance on the unit and verify proper operation of the Viking charger.
• The contractor shall ensure that all systems are functioning as designed and that all accessories on the forklift are in working order.
