Historic Courthouse Paver Revitalization

The Glynn County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals for the Historic Courthouse Paver Revitalization project. The project involves the removal, disposal, and installation of 8,232 square feet of octagonal paving stones in the designated area to improve aesthetics and functionality. The contractor will be responsible for site preparation, regrading, base material installation, paver installation, jointing, and final touches. The project also includes hand rail work and paver stairs replacement. The contractor must provide a lump sum price for the project and submit a bid security in the form of 5% of the bid total price. • The project requires the removal and disposal of existing pavers and debris from the site. • The contractor must regrade the area to ensure a stable and even base for new installation. • The contractor must install compactable base and motor-grade M10 gravel to create a solid foundation for new installation. • The contractor must lay the new pavers in the designated pattern and ensure proper alignment and levelness. • The contractor must fill the joints with polymeric sand to lock pavers in place and prevent weed growth. • The contractor must apply a fresh coat of paint to existing hand rails to enhance their appearance and protect against weather.
