Mercoid Submersible Level Transmitter

The City of Norfolk is seeking a responsible vendor to provide Mercoid submersible level transmitters according to the terms, conditions, and specifications of this solicitation. The contractor shall provide and deliver Mercoid submersible level transmitters, on an as-needed basis, in accordance with the specifications below. The total value of purchases resulting from this solicitation shall not exceed $200,000. Key specifications include compatibility with certain liquids, specific wetted materials, accuracy, temperature limits, and power requirements. Some key points to consider: • The contract term is for five years • The pricing of the resulting agreement will remain firm throughout the agreement term unless a written price adjustment request is submitted • The contractor is required to maintain certain types of insurance, including commercial general liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance • The contractor shall indemnify and save harmless the City and its representatives from and against all losses and claims, demands, suits, actions, payments, and judgments arising from personal injury or otherwise • The City reserves the right to waive minor defects or variations from the exact requirements of the solicitation in a quote
