Description
The County is seeking a qualified contractor to replace and upgrade the north‑side parking lot at the Gwinnett County Police Precinct. The work includes full‑depth removal of existing asphalt, milling and overlay, concrete curb and gutter repairs, installation of new striping, wheel stops, signage, and traffic control measures while maintaining at least one lane open throughout construction. The contractor must protect existing structures, provide drainage slope, and meet warranty and insurance requirements.
• Full‑depth asphalt removal, milling (≈3 in.) and overlay (≈3 in. total thickness) with polymer‑modified coal‑tar sealer.
• Concrete curb/gutter repair, bollard reset, and installation of wheel stops and signage.
• Striping per GDOT specifications, traffic control, and phasing to keep at least one lane open at all times.
• Site protection, daily clean‑up, 24‑hour notice to County inspector before each phase, and a 1‑year warranty with rapid response requirements.
