Notice of Intent to Sole Source -Denied Area Sprinter-Hellfire (DASH)

The United States Marine Corps intends to award a hybrid contract on a sole-source basis to V2X for the Denied Area Sprinter-Hellfire (DASH) system. The DASH system is designed to detect, identify, track, and defeat small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in a highly mobile, rugged form factor. The Marine Corps plans to procure up to 50 systems, including training, initial spares, and reimbursable repairs. The expected delivery date for two systems is no later than 30 May 2026, and the remaining 48 systems are expected to be delivered no later than December 2026. • The DASH system is designed to support dismounted Marines. • The system is expected to be at a Technology Readiness Level (TRL)-9 level. • The contract will be a hybrid contract, with both firm-fixed price and cost-type elements. • The Marine Corps has a unique and specific need for the DASH system to counter small UAS. • The system will be used to protect Marines in a highly mobile and rugged environment.
