Rinehart Road Force Main Valve and Flow Meter Installation

The Seminole County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a General Contractor and/or Certified Underground Utilities Contractor to provide services for the Rinehart Road Force Main Valve and Flow Meter Installation project. The project consists of the installation of five new 16” valves on an existing PVC force main and a new 12” electromagnetic flow meter assembly and bypass line. The Engineer’s estimate for the project is $913,000.00. • The project requires the contractor to perform at least 15% of the total work within their own organization. • The contractor must maintain specific insurance requirements, including Workers’ Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Business Automobile Liability Insurance. • The contractor must also comply with the Seminole County Purchasing Code and other applicable laws and regulations. • A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 26, 2026, at 9:00am, and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. • Bids must be submitted electronically via the Seminole County website by June 17, 2026, at 2:00pm.
