Description
The University seeks qualified contractors to fully reroof and repair the exterior walls of the Research One (R1) building on the NDSU Research Park campus. The work includes removal of the existing EPDM roof membrane, installation of new insulation, coverboards, a 60‑mil fully‑adhered EPDM membrane, metal coping, flashing, roof‑drain systems, and comprehensive exterior‑finish system (EIFS/EFS) wall repairs such as sealant replacement, coating, and panel replacement. All materials must be new, U.S.‑produced, and delivered FOB destination. The contract is firm‑fixed‑price, with a 5‑year warranty on roofing and a 3‑year warranty on coatings, and must be completed by mid‑August 2026.
• Scope: Complete roof system replacement (membrane, insulation, flashing, drainage) and exterior wall repair (sealants, coatings, panel replacement).
• Schedule: Wall work starts April 14 2026, roof work starts May 14 2026, final completion required by August 14 2026.
• Requirements: North Dakota contractor license, commercial general liability & automobile liability insurance ($500k/$2M limits), workers’ compensation, non‑discrimination compliance, and all work considered “work for hire” with IP assigned to NDSU.
