Description
The DLA Maritime - Puget Sound is seeking a contractor to provide a band saw machine. The machine must meet specific requirements, including being manufactured in accordance with material specifications and meeting the technical requirements of the attached specification sheet. The contractor must also provide manufacturer specifications for technical evaluation. The contract will be a firm fixed-price supply contract, and the delivery location will be the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
• The band saw machine must be 230V and include features such as powered column tilt, startup blades, digital tilt readout, and first section dead roller conveyors for loading and discharge sides of the machine.
• The contractor must provide a quote that includes the price for each component, as well as any additional costs associated with delivery and installation.
• The contractor must also provide information on the lead time for delivery and any applicable warranties or guarantees.
• The contract will include requirements for inspection and acceptance, as well as payment terms and conditions.
