SR 141 and SR 140 Sidewalks

The City of Peachtree Corners is soliciting Statement of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide consultant services for design and construction administration of a proposed sidewalks along SR 141/Peachtree Blvd and SR 140/Jimmy Carter Blvd. The project will include design and construction of sidewalks along the following roads: SR 141/Peachtree Boulevard from Winters Chapel Road to Jones Mill Road, and SR 140/Jimmy Carter Boulevard from Atlantic Boulevard to West Peachtree Street. The services to be performed by the consultant include survey and data collection, construction plans and bid documents, coordination with utility companies, and construction administration. • The project will be funded by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant program. • The plans will need to go through the GDOT Special Encroachment Permit Process. • The design and construction plans shall be prepared under the guidance of a professional Consultant and shall be in accordance with AASHTO, GDOT, and Gwinnett County Department of Transportation Design Policies. • The consultant shall provide a proposed schedule, project staff, and similar experience.
