The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation, Richmond is issuing a Letter Request for Proposal (RFP) to support a DLA Strategic Initiative. The RFP is for 32 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) of various parts, including pack assemblies, valves, shaft assemblies, and bearings. The parts are intended for use in various sole source weapon systems and operational platforms. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Parker Hannifin Corporation. • The RFP is for a total of 32 NSNs, with estimated annual quantities ranging from 10 to 1,174. • The parts are intended for use in various sole source weapon systems and operational platforms. • The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to the OEM, Parker Hannifin Corporation. • Responses to the announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items in accordance with the acquisition strategy. • The acquisition strategy includes the consideration of surplus dealers and the potential for altering the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the government.
