JOB ORDER CONTRACT (JOC) FOR DEMOLITION SERVICES

The County of Orange, OC Public Works, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for a Job Order Contract (JOC) for demolition services. The contract is for a best value job contract, and the successful respondent will provide demolition services according to the contract requirements. The contract includes access to an online Construction Task Catalog, which contains pre-priced tasks for construction work. The proposer must submit their qualifications criteria, including demonstrated management competency, and provide two adjustment factors to be applied to the unit prices in the Construction Task catalog. • The contract is for a period of at least 365 calendar days from the closing date and time of receipt. • The proposer must have a valid Class C-21 license and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). • The proposer must provide a 10% bid security by certified or cashier's check from a responsible bank, cash, or an original bidder's bond issued and executed by an admitted surety insurer authorized to transact surety insurance in California. • The proposer must comply with the County's Safety and Loss Prevention Policy and Procedure #306 ("Contractor Safety Responsibilities") and submit a copy of their Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) and Contractor Safety-Activity Checklist to the County's Project Manager prior to the start of any work performed under the contract.
