2601RSQ - Design of New Fire Station #8 Building

The City of Daytona Beach is seeking a qualified consultant to provide architectural and engineering services for the design and construction of a new Fire Station #8 Building and related site improvements. The project includes a 10,000 square foot building with various features such as apparatus bay, offices, dorm rooms, kitchen, and more. The consultant will be responsible for pre-design, design, and construction phase services. The project duration is estimated to be 10 months. • The scope of work includes summary site evaluation, infrastructure design criteria recommendation, permit requirements, building program, conceptual engineered site plan, and more. • The consultant will work closely with the City Fire Chief, City Project Manager, City Staff, and the Construction Manager/General Contractor throughout the project. • The City is looking for a consultant with experience in architectural and engineering services, particularly in the design and construction of fire stations. • The consultant must be able to provide a comprehensive design that meets the City's requirements and is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
