Sources Sought for Electric Forklift

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is seeking sources for a custom-built, electric forklift with an EX rating and required safety modifications. The forklift will be used for the transportation of items between different facilities across outdoor, level roadways. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and documentation necessary to deliver a fully operational forklift. • The forklift must have a minimum lifting capacity of 20,000lbs and meet specific requirements for load center, mast, carriage width, fork length, tires, turn radius, power source, and forklift height. • The forklift must have certain modification capabilities, including sealed or enclosed components, non-sparking battery terminals, and an automatic shutdown system. • The contractor must provide all necessary documentation, which will be determined prior to RFP issuance. • The schedule and period of performance, deliverables, inspection and acceptance, warranty, quality insurance, and delivery will be determined prior to RFP issuance.
