Invitation to Submit Reverse Auction Bids for the Purchase of Two Garbage Trucks

The Simpson County Board of Supervisors is seeking bids for the purchase of two new and unused garbage trucks with specifications, warranties, guaranteed buyback, and trade-in value. The trucks must be compatible with two 20 cubic yard extra high compaction rear loader bodies. The lowest and best bid price will be determined based on the reverse auction bid price, net of the buyback amount. The buyer reserves the right to reject any and all bids with or without cause. • The trucks must be 2026 models and new and unused. • The trucks must be tandem axle garbage truck refuse chassis. • The trucks must be compatible with two 20 cubic yard extra high compaction rear loader bodies. • Specification restrictions have been approved by the Board of Supervisors. • Truck bids with International Engines will not be accepted and Freightliner M2 truck bids will not be considered.
